Q3 Unit 3: Conceptual Inquiry Question: What do you think the world will look like in 20 years’ time

Based on the rapid rate of technological developments and human activities of the world currently, I think that the world will be very advance in 20 years’ time. There will be skyscrapers everywhere and clear lands will be very valuable. Travelling from one place to another can consume hours on the road as the traffic jam will be worse than the world nowadays, essentially in the busy cities. Flying cars and monorails allow people from all over the world to easily connect to one another. Energy efficient hydrogen powered vehicles will be used instead of the eco-friendly cars. People will rely on technology, and robots will serve people in almost everything that we do. Moreover, people will ‘forever’ look young and never grow old, with the advancement of beauty treatments as well as technologies like plastic surgery. Art forms in the futuristic society will be mostly through the digital format rather than the using the conventional paint and canvas. Paintings will be sold and exhibited in the digital form and a hardcopy of the artwork will be rarer.
